About as accessible as the environments of the game itself, DAKAR 18 does not attempt to meet non-fans halfway. This makes for a surprisingly good adventure-driving game for those who want a genuine test of their skill, stamina and spatial awareness.

Forza Horizon 4 lacks direction and structure as the game wears on. With nothing standing out as special, players are mostly invited to make their own fun rather than the curated journey that Forza Horizon has traditionally offered in between 6km powerslides. A pretty map with plenty to see can only keep a player for so long before they will be wondering 'what's next?'.

Onrush is a fun and destructive ride that's easily accessible, but it's not a racing game by any means. Oh, and it comes with free content updates.

Onrush is the new driving game from former Evolution Studios employees, the developers behind Sony exclusive Driveclub. Onrush is a car combat game which promises thrilling action but in this beta at least, it doesn't deliver.
