About as accessible as the environments of the game itself, DAKAR 18 does not attempt to meet non-fans halfway. This makes for a surprisingly good adventure-driving game for those who want a genuine test of their skill, stamina and spatial awareness.

Forza Horizon 4 lacks direction and structure as the game wears on. With nothing standing out as special, players are mostly invited to make their own fun rather than the curated journey that Forza Horizon has traditionally offered in between 6km powerslides. A pretty map with plenty to see can only keep a player for so long before they will be wondering 'what's next?'.

The career mode of F1 2018 will see a revamp with a huge focus on off-track activities like R&D and media/team relations. The race weekends have more importance with testing and rivalries always giving a player something to drive for. As stated, this is a first impression of Street Heat, not a final review. The game is in early access and the updates seem to be relatively frequent. There may be potential here for Street Heat to become a far more enjoyable experience
