The latest trailer for Friday The 13th: The Game is here and thankfully it’s just as brutal as you would’ve hoped for.
Some of the killings are incredibly graphic. They include breaking girls backs by slamming her down on your knee. Jason also drowns a camper in a toilet and even lifts a camper by the throat and stabs him through his belly.
Originally entitled Slasher Volume 1: Summer Camp, before creators Gun Media, were contacted by the rights holder of the Friday The 13th franchise and given the rights for free.
Having put the game up for funding on both Kickstarter and Backerkit, they have raised over $2 Million in total.
According to Gun media, “Friday the 13th: The Game is a third-person, asymmetrical multiplayer title where one player controls Jason Voorhees while the remaining seven control camp counselors trying to survive the night.That’s right…1v7 multiplayer set in the semi-open world of Camp Crystal Lake! It’s a classic horror fan’s dream, no shaky cam, no found footage.”
We also get to see the new versions of Jason Vorhees. The two new Jasons are from Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan and Part IX: Jason Goes to Hell, making up the full contingent of slashers that will be playable in the complete release of Friday the 13th: The Game.”
Friday The 13th: The Game has an initial release date of October 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
