A new video from Life is Strange: Double Exposure takes a closer look at the powers at the disposal of main character Max.
This allows her to switch between two parallel timelines. She also has a new power called Pulse. This allows her to catch a glimpse of the other timeline before she makes the ‘jump’. This allows her to catch conversations from the other dimension.
During the Xbox Games Showcase last June, Life is Strange: Double Exposure was announced. The aforementioned Max – known from the first Life is Strange – returns in this. She is now studying at Caledon University and has promised herself never to use her special powers again. Despite this, in Double Exposure she ends up in a parallel timeline while investigating the death of her friend Safi. In this other timeline, she is still alive.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure will be released on October 29 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC, with Nintendo Switch coming at an unspecified later date. Pre-orders will get two weeks early access to the first two chapters.
