The television series based on Fallout will be released in 2024. The series is set in Los Angeles.

Bethesda and Amazon have announced this. The companies also shared a poster of the series, which can be viewed below.

At Gamescom, an early trailer for the series was also shown behind closed doors during a Starfield press presentation, but that trailer is not officially being made public. The footage shows a shout-out in a western-like town, Marching Brotherhood of Steel soldiers and a woman stepping out of the vault for the first time. Below is off-screen footage from the trailer.

Since the announcement that a TV series based on Fallout is in the works, several set photos have already leaked – including a Ghoul and a Super Duper Mart . Last year, a first official photo was also shared.

Last year, Bethesda indicated that a free current-gen update for Fallout 4 will be released this year. The upgrade will add performance mode options, higher frame rates and support for 4K resolution. Various bugs also need to be fixed and it contains more content for the Creation Club. No release date has been given yet.
