Assassins' Creed: Odyssey tells an epic, winding tale befitting the lesser bards of the classical era - no mean feat for a video game. That it's based in one of the most beautiful maps ever made is also nice, obviously.

Jotun: Valhalla Edition is a definitive title in its genre. A cerebral and patient take on the genre, Jotun is stunning to behold on Switch.

God of War is one of the best games this writer has had the pleasure of playing in years….maybe ever. Almost every aspect of this game is nearly perfect, and the other aspects are perfect.

Fans of the series will appreciate the familiarities and bask in the new direction. Lapsed fans have many good reasons to come back and those who are new to the series are probably experiencing the series at its very best
