So I am a pure newbie when it comes to attending cons. When the stars aligned and I had my chance to head up for a day I wasn’t that nervous, but I still didn’t quite know what to expect. My time at the con was far too short, alas, to cover the many cool folks who popped down over the weekend. I did however manage to meet some pretty damn dedicated fans and asked them about their impressions of the con in general. Take it away guys! Check out some of this deadly cosplay!

Aaron Lockhart (Joker) and Harley : The Con is a lot bigger, which is nice. As we’re actors anything about getting in character with costume was interesting.”
Carol Danvers and Silent Hill Nurse: “It was great to see so many other cosplayers and get photos with them.
Deadshot and Deathstroke: “We took it up after seeing Youtube videos from other cosplayers.”

Nonon Jakuzure: Looking back on my first cosplay and this one…there’s a big difference in quality.”
Boba Fett: The Con could use special arrangements for cosplay parking but other than that it’s good!”
Hoxton, Nepeta, and a Corsair: The Con could use a bit more bag checks, but it has been ok so far.

Fany and Chris as Oberyn and Elf: We thought it was a little overpriced, but still fun. Chris: My next project is Oberyn”s armor. Fany: Mine will be Ramona Flowers from Scott Pilgrim
Arkham Robin: “Seeing stuff in San Diego Comic con made me want to join in!”
Aoba and TenTen: “We don’t know exactly when we started cosplay but just seeing it on the internet was enough to get into it bit by bit.”
Resident Evil Enforcer: I love it, took it up because my daughter got me into it.”
GrimDarks Jade & Rose: “It’d be great if there were more cosplay panels because there are plenty of photographers here to take pictures. “
