One of gamings greatest series is making a return to consoles according to a posting spotted by TrueAchievments. The Sims 4, originally released back in 2014 on PC, will be making its first console appearance on the Xbox One. The last Sims game to cross over to a console was The Sims Pets which was released on the last-gen of consoles namely PS3 and Xbox 360.

According to the listing, it will be released on November 17th, but the listing also confirms a Deluxe Edition which will give you early access on November 14th. The Deluxe edition includes Life of the Party Digital Content – Up All Night Digital Content – Awesome Animal Hats Digital Content.

The Microsoft listing goes on to say:

“Enjoy the power to create and control people in a virtual world where there are no rules. Express your creativity as you customise your Sims’ distinct appearances and unique personalities. Choose their fashions, select their hairstyles, and give them life aspirations. Effortlessly build your Sims the perfect homes with the all-new room-based Build Mode, choosing your favourite designs and décor. Develop your Sims’ relationships, pursue new careers, and shape the rich and entertaining moments of their lives. Explore beautiful worlds with unique environments and travel to neighbourhoods where you can visit venues and meet other interesting Sims. Be powerful and free, have fun, and play with life!”

It’s certainly an interesting move by Microsoft given that there doesn’t seem to be a demand for it on a console. But then again the lines between an Xbox console and a PC are becoming more and more blurred.
